HR Internship

Job description

Under close supervision, this position is responsible for building real-world experience with recruiting, payroll, employee development, and/or the coordination of HR policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in screening resumes, application forms, candidates, and/or prospects

• Participate in organizing company events and careers days
• Assist and schedule and confirm interviews with candidates Post, update and remove job ads from job boards, careers pages and social networks Prepare HR-related reports as needed Address employee queries about benefits (like number of remaining vacation days)
• Update our internal databases with new employee information, including contact details and employment forms
• Review and distribute company policies in digital formats or hard copies
• Perform various data entry and validation as needed

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED equivalent OR currently enrolled in a degree program in good standing at an accredited community college, college or university Preferred Qualifications: Experience in an office environment Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Experience with resume databases
• Ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas through various mediums
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Ability to process information with high levels of accuracy
• Ability to use time and resources efficiently and effectively This position is not eligible for employment-based sponsorship.
