Job description

Role Summary

This role is responsible for delivering high-quality support across the end-to-end operational lifecycle of cross-asset exotic products, ensuring that client requests, trade setup, controls, and post-trade issues are handled accurately and efficiently. The scope covers exotic products across Equity, Rates, Credit, FX, and Hybrid asset classes, including Equity Linked Notes (ELN), Credit Linked Notes (CLN), share accumulators, auto-callables, and other exotic payoffs.

The role requires close collaboration with Front Office, support functions, and clients to enhance the client experience, manage operational risk, and maintain a consistently high standard of service.

Primary Objectives Client Engagement

Act as a key point of contact for client-related operational matters, ensuring that requests are handled accurately, efficiently, and in coordination with the relevant internal teams. Support day-to-day client service activities and manage client escalations, including information requests, claims, and complaints, while helping to strengthen long-term client relationships.

Trade Capture and Booking

Ensure accurate and timely booking in the relevant systems, in line with operational standards and control requirements.

Trade Lifecycle Management

Manage lifecycle events and coordinate post-trade actions to support smooth processing from booking through settlement and maturity.

Collaboration and Controls

Work closely with Front Office and support functions to ensure accurate product setup, quality bookings, effective controls, and timely resolution of production issues. Contribute to automation, process simplification, and the assessment of operational impacts from new products.

Procedural Documentation

Document and update procedures for sensitive processes and controls to support consistency, transparency, and operational risk management.

Key Responsibilities

Manage client escalations, including information requests, claims, and complaints, with priority focus on Tier 1 clients. Maintain the integrity of internal controls and reduce operational risk across post-trade activities. Act as an intermediary between Front Office, Back Office, Compliance, Legal, Risk, and other SG teams on post-trade matters. Respond to client incidents and system outages, define action plans, and follow up on operational issue resolution.

Support existing and new business development by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. Contribute to client change requests, KPI production, and the timely delivery of agreed solutions. Improve operational efficiency, security, and client satisfaction through process review and enhancement.
