Security Officer Apprentice

Job description

What you’ll be doing day to day

Patrol the site to ensure safety and security of people, buildings and assets

• Monitor entrances, exits and access control systems Check ID badges, visitor passes and deliveries
• Respond to alarms, incidents and emergencies following site procedures
• Complete incident reports and daily occurrence logs accurately
• Provide a visible security presence and excellent customer service Monitor CCTV and other security systems where required Carry out regular health and safety checks (e.g. fire exits, hazards)
• Liaise with client staff, emergency services and colleagues as needed
• Follow all Securitas policies, assignment instructions and safety rules Every day brings something new — and you’ll be supported at every step, to ensure you succeed.
