Banquet Bartender

Job description

Description We are hiring Banquet Bartender(s) As a Banquet Bartender you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service during events, including receptions, meetings, trainings, and social gatherings. Your ability to create a welcoming atmosphere and craft quality beverages.

Responsibilities

Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures, and Brand standards. Assist with event setup, bar execution, breakdown, and cleaning. Perform side work to prepare for upcoming events. Greet guests warmly and ensure all service needs are met throughout the event. Communicate effectively with guests and answer beverage-related questions. Take beverage orders and prepare cocktails accurately and efficiently.

Understand Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and ensure all liquor, beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverage inventory are accurately counted at the end of each event. Anticipate guest needs and monitor overall satisfaction with service.

Qualifications

Previous bartending or banquet service experience preferred. Strong knowledge of common cocktails, beverage service standards, and responsible alcohol service. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, event-driven environment. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Ability to stand for long periods and be able to lift moderate weights as needed. Must be able to work on a flexible schedule, that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
