Risk Control Intern - LNG

Job description

Description Support daily monitoring and reporting of LNG and Biomass market and credit risk exposures. Assist in the analysis of risk indicators, limit utilization, P&L drivers, and portfolio exposures. Contribute to the preparation of risk committee materials, governance reports, and management presentations. Perform data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and emerging risks within LNG and Biomass portfolios. Support the review and enhancement of risk control processes, procedures, and documentation.

Interact with Front Office, Middle Office, Finance, and Compliance teams to ensure adherence to risk policies and controls. Assist in investigating risk events and control breaches, including root cause analysis and follow-up actions. Participate in strategic projects related to risk governance, reporting automation and digitalization, and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a high attention to detail. Proficiency in Excel and data analysis techniques. Ability to work with large datasets and synthesize findings into meaningful insights. Interest in commodity markets, energy trading, LNG, and renewable fuels such as biomass.
