Senior External Communications Consultant (maternity cover)

Job description

Own Danske Bank Lithuania’s external employer brand communication and help shape how we are perceived by experienced professionals in technology, data, finance and business. You will be joining our small employer branding & communications team in Vilnius, where you'll get full ownership of Danske Bank’s external communication activities in Lithuania. Your role will be to turn complex topics into clear, engaging stories and bring them to the right audiences through social media, events, campaigns and other external visibility initiatives.

This is a hands-on senior role with end-to-end ownership. You will decide which stories are worth telling, shape how they are presented and follow through from the initial idea to execution and content reuse. The role is located in Vilnius. Danske Bank supports workplace flexibility (we currently use a hybrid work model, where we work at least 3 days in the office). *This will be a maternity cover.

What you will be doing

• Build and maintain a content pipeline together with leaders, experts, and partners Organise Danske TechNights & community meet-ups (4-5/year) from idea development to event execution and content follow-up Coordinate Danske Bank participation in specialised industry events and speaking opportunities
• Plan and manage social media content (with the help of SoMe agency)
• Lead selected employer-branding campaigns and visibility initiatives (usually max 1/year) Repurpose stories, events and expert content into multiple communication formats
• Monitor employer-brand visibility trends and identify opportunities to strengthen Danske Bank's position in the market About you 3+ years of experience in communication, marketing, or preferably – employer branding Advanced written and spoken English skills Content creation and storytelling skills backed by real case studies Experience managing extensive communication projects or campaigns
• Ability to work with senior stakeholders and experts and turn complex business or technology topics into engaging stories
• Strong organisational, ownership and project management skills with the ability to balance strategy and hands-on execution Interest in (or even better – understanding of) technology, business and financial services Extensive experience working with social media and digital communication channels What we offer you Monthly salary range from 2960 EUR to 4440 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
