Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Software Test Automation Engineer with 3 years of experience in Python-based test automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions to ensure high software quality.

Key Responsibilities

Automation Testing

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Python.
• Create and execute automated test scripts.
• Improve automation coverage and reduce manual testing effort.

Test Design & Execution

• Analyse functional and technical requirements to create test designs and test cases.
• Perform manual testing (functional, regression, sanity, smoke) when required.
• Execute test cases and identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA.

Collaboration & Agile Practices

• Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
• Provide timely status updates and test reports

Quality Assurance Best Practices

• Implement and follow QA processes, standards, and methodologies
• Ensure high quality, performance, and reliability of applications
• Perform root cause analysis for defects and recommend improvements

Required Technical Skills

Programming & Automation

• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks.

Testing Knowledge

• Solid understanding of:
• SDLC & STLC
• Test case design techniques (boundary value, equivalence partitioning, etc.)
• Experience in:
• Functional Testing
• Regression Testing
• Integration Testing
• System Testing Soft Skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
