Staff Accountant, Partnership

Job description

The Staff Accountant, Partnership Accounting is responsible for accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of operator partnerships, with emphasis on monthly intercompany consolidation, journal entries, reconciliations, and billbacks under US GAAP, SOX, and Company policy. The role serves as a day-to-day accounting contact for Welltower's operating partners, works across RIDEA and non-RIDEA structures, and partners with internal accounting teams to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial data.

The successful candidate is detail-oriented, asks good questions, builds strong relationships, and is motivated to develop deep technical command of Welltower accounting fundamentals.
