Senior Accountant, Partnership

Job description

The Senior Accountant, Partnership Accounting owns accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of operator partnerships, including foreign operators and other complex structures, with emphasis on monthly intercompany consolidation, journal entries, account reconciliations, and billbacks under US GAAP, SOX requirements, and Company policy. The role also reviews staff accountants' work, trains and mentors new team members, and drives process improvements that make the close more efficient and repeatable.

The successful candidate has firm command of accounting fundamentals, resolves consolidation and foreign currency translation issues independently, knows when to escalate, and is a trusted resource to operating partners and the accounting team.
