Job description

Job Overview

The Energy Americas M&A Integration Director is responsible for leading post-acquisition integration, with a primary focus on operations, execution, and value realization. The successful candidate will drive integrations to completion, ensuring acquired businesses are effectively incorporated into the company, operational synergies are realized, and business performance and customer continuity are maintained. This leader will serve as the primary integration executive, working across Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, IT, Finance, HR, and Commercial teams to align processes, systems, operating procedures, controls, and organizational practices.

Between M&A activities, this position will support operations transformation projects to build a deeper understanding of the company, its processes, and its standard operating procedures while strengthening capabilities that can be applied to future integrations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end post-acquisition integration planning and execution, with primary accountability for operational readiness, stabilization, and performance. Develop and manage detailed integration plans, governance, milestones, risks, dependencies, and executive reporting across all integration workstreams. Assess and align manufacturing, supply chain, quality, customer service, engineering, and other operating processes to enable a consistent and effective operating model.

Lead the execution of synergies, performance improvements, and integration objectives while minimizing disruption to customers and ongoing operations. Develop and execute communication and change management plans that build engagement, retain key talent, and align organizations around a common vision and operating model. Establish and continuously improve a scalable M&A integration framework and playbook, with a strong emphasis on operational integration, process standardization, and sustained value realization.

Drive ERP and business system integrations, ensuring alignment with enterprise processes, controls, reporting, data, and operating standards. Between M&A integrations, support operations transformation projects across the business to learn the company, its processes, and its standard operating procedures; strengthen cross-functional relationships; and build practical knowledge that improves the planning and execution of future integrations.

Partner with functional and business leaders to identify operational gaps, establish corrective actions, track integration performance, and transition ownership to the receiving organization. What your background should look like Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred. 10+ years of experience in integration management, operations leadership, business transformation, or a related field. Communicate clearly and concisely while fostering strong cross-functional collaboration to align stakeholders, resolve issues, and drive integration objectives to completion.

Proven track record leading successful post-acquisition integrations and delivering measurable operational and financial results. Direct experience leading and executing integrations within manufacturing or industrial businesses. Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, supply chain, ERP systems (SAP preferred), organizational design, and change management. Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and drive results in complex, matrixed organizations.

Critical Success Factors The ideal candidate

Has personally led post-acquisition integrations and delivered measurable business results, not simply coordinated project activities. Understands how businesses operate, manufacture, serve customers, manage supply chains, and leverage ERP systems to scale performance. Can move seamlessly between strategy and execution. Is a strong communicator capable of aligning executive leaders, integration teams, and acquired employees through periods of significant change.

Possesses the leadership presence, credibility, and resilience to drive difficult decisions and ensure integrations achieve their intended operational and financial value.
