Key Responsibilities

Backstage Platform Development

• Design, develop, and enhance

Backstage Developer Portal

• Build and maintain Software Templates (Scaffolder) and golden paths
• Develop custom Backstage plugins (frontend + backend) using TypeScript
• Manage Backstage Catalog (entities, systems, ownership, metadata governance) DevOps & Platform Integration
• Integrate Backstage with SCM, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, security and monitoring tools
• Build reusable CI/CD templates and pipeline-as-code frameworks
• Enable end-to-end automation (build, test, deploy, monitor)
• Implement RBAC, secrets management, and security-first pipelines

Engineering & Development

• Build backend services using Java (Spring Boot, Microservices architecture)
• Develop and manage API integrations across platform services
• Work on containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
