Mainframe Tape Management Location: Chennai/Kolkata Experience Range: 5 to 8 Years Job Description:

• Good knowledge of IBM Mainframe TSO and Job Control Language (JCL) which is needed to troubleshoot batch job failures and recovery. Also, to be able to write JCL code to create jobs as needed for Operational and User support.
• Working knowledge of IBM Software DFRMM and Computer Associates CA1/TMC. Running tape management utilities to alter/modify tape status, tape retentions and the creation of tape retention rules.
• IBM knowledge of Physical and Virtual tape library Technology. This will include the insertion, removal of physical/virtual/BACKEND tape.
• Work in cross functional groups across the firm supporting solutions with a client first mindset.
• Working closely with customer groups MVS, DASD, Automation, Enterprise Tape Storage Team, Onsite Data Center Service Delivery teams and Hardware. Also works closely with Vendors, IBM Hardware, IBM RMM tape management, CA1/TMC tape management for Hardware and Software support regarding changes/upgrades/monitoring and problems.
• Interact with various personality types and technical / non-technical recipients (Know your target audience. TCS has been a great pioneer in feeding the fire of Young Techies like you.
