• Indirect Operations (e.g., Office Supplies, Computers, Travel, Maintenance, Machine Parts, etc.)
• Direct Operations (e.g., Raw Materials and Services for Manufacturing, Production or Construction; Finished Goods for Retail, etc.) Activities include product/service sourcing, supplier selection, pricing/terms negotiation, order processing, contract administration, and supplier performance management. JOB SUMMARY

Manage clerical duties involved with purchasing from order entry to clearance in the country. This includes but is not limited to order entry, confirmations, vendor communication, and supporting all merchandising responsibilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Vendor Communication. Compiling product specifications, verifying pricing, following up on scheduled carrier appointments. Assisting Merchandisers in duties to include, but not limited to, confirmations and order entry. Expedite orders due to changes in demand. Act as Merchandiser back-up on an as-needed basis.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education HSD or equivalent. Bachelor’s preferred Experience 2-year purchasing or inventory experience required Professional Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and excellent organizational and follow up skills required. AS400 experience preferred. Describe the most important decisions made by this position.
