Job Summary

Super Micro Computer, Inc. is seeking talented Sr. Validation Engineer to join the testing team based out of our San Jose headquarter office. This position will be working closely with BIOS and design team to test and validate motherboards, systems, and other server components; discover and resolve hardware and software issues collaboratively. The ideal candidate must have solid hands-on experience in enterprise motherboards and its components with strong testing knowledge, able to work effectively in team environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):

• Perform motherboard, system, and other server component validation testing
• Conduct functionality testing, compatibility testing, performance testing, stress and reliability testing
• Develop and validate thermal solution for server platforms with respect to industry standards
• Evaluate all of the system layout and power consumptions, air flow direction, acoustics and mechanical testing (vibration, shock or drop testing)
