Job Summary

Supermicro Server Lab team is looking for a talented Hardware Validation Engineer to perform validation testing on server motherboard and system. The candidate will be working with team members to design, develop and perform test plans and procedures according to the SOP and will also record and deliver specific characterization reports based on the issues in software and hardware for in-house products. The position is based in San Jose, California.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):

• Perform motherboard and system validation test
• Perform hardware, software, functional testing with test tools such as Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, Function Generator, etc.
• Report hardware and software quality issues into bug tracking systems
• Record and update validation report on each performed task
