Job description

• Master the SG Agile based software development practices and SG cloud technology platforms
• Demonstrate ability to work independently as individual contributor and deliver technical solutions/fixes
• Deliver on technical roadmap, contribute to team effort in supporting technology platform, resolving production issues and fixes.

Contribute to code reviews, application testing, code releases, and Level3 production support. Proactively enhance monitoring capabilities to reduce problem investigation and resolution time. Communicate and report to business stakeholders and IT peers within region and globally as needed. Build self-confidence and learn to engage with stake holders to understand their technology needs Department Description Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking is a part of Global Banking & Investor Solutions (GBIS).

Securities Financing team is part of MTO organization covering Technology and Operational teams. excellence in our day-to-day services to Global Banking and Investor Solutions (GBIS) Business Units and their clients. The financing dev team oversees development and support of tools used by Equity Prime Brokerage and Security finance traders, sales, and operations staff. The Asia team is composed of 10 developers along with application support analysts across Hong Kong and Tokyo locations.

All HK developers are based in dealing room and interact regularly with Front and Middle Office teams. Asia team works in partnership with operational teams to deliver solutions for our business while collaborating with peers across other regional offices. The team is part of a wider “community” of technologists spread across various SG premises. The community is focused on business lines and is capable of transitioning from one application to another based on project and business needs.

This “fungible” model provide much needed flexibility to operate in complex environment by leveraging similar toolings and technology platforms that are based on modern cloud-based technologies.
