Senior Auditor - Sanctions and Embargos

Job description

As a Senior Auditor , you will play a key role in delivering high-quality audit assignments across all areas of Sanctions and Embargoes. Working under the guidance of a supervisor, you will either lead or actively contribute to audits covering commercial divisions, back-office operations, regional and central departments, and specialised subsidiaries (e.g., leasing, consumer credit). You will also participate in thematic reviews and cross-functional process analyses.

In a rapidly evolving regulatory environment and a banking sector undergoing digital transformation, this role offers the opportunity to develop deep expertise in critical topics shaping the industry. You will also contribute to enhancing and updating audit methodologies.

Lead and Deliver Audits

Manage end-to-end audit segments independently, from planning to reporting.

Apply Expertise

Provide insights and recommendations based on your seniority and technical knowledge.

Reporting

Draft clear, concise audit reports and prepare presentation materials for stakeholders.

Data Analysis

Utilise data analytics to assess processes and identify risks.

Continuous Monitoring

Take ownership of ongoing monitoring for part of the audit scope.

Risk Assessment

Identify and evaluate risks within your area of responsibility.

Mentorship

Support and train junior auditors on technical and methodological topics.

Methodology Development

Conduct research and contribute to the evolution of audit practices.

Cross-Functional Projects

Engage in transversal initiatives beyond your core audit assignments.
