Procurement Officer

Job description

• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors Issue purchase orders and manage the procurement process end-to-end
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with planning/operations teams
• Ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve supply issues
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
• Analyze market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
• Collaborate with finance for budget control and invoice verification
• Support audits and reporting (e.g., KPI tracking, supplier performance)
