Basic Job Functions

We are seeking an Automation Technician to better support the team’s automation needs here at Nucor Steel, Kingman. The site features state-of-the-art controls, automation, and robotics for advanced steel manufacturing. The candidate will help safely support the continued improvement and maintenance of these systems. Always looking for ways to improve safety through process improvements and increased reliability of our systems Engaged with the team in the field, to include all departments Brings a can-do attitude, solution focused mindset Attend automation, robotics, and equipment supplier training Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Requirements

2 years’ experience with automation systems developing/troubleshooting logic in an industrial environment Diverse background in PLCs, HMIs, and industrial controls Ability to safely work on electrical systems Detailed Selection Criteria: Accountability and Dependability
