You will translate complex technical capabilities into compelling narratives that resonate with developer audiences, driving awareness, engagement, and adoption across the full developer journey.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing programs targeting developer audiences across Meta's Reality Labs platform ecosystem, including campaigns spanning developer documentation portals, community channels, and technical events
  • Translate complex technical product capabilities — such as APIs, SDKs, and developer tooling — into clear, compelling messaging and content that resonates with software developers and technical decision-makers
  • Partner with product, engineering, and developer relations teams to align marketing strategies with platform roadmaps and developer adoption goals
  • Define and track key performance indicators for developer marketing programs, using data and experimentation to optimize campaign performance and inform future investment decisions
  • Identify short, mid, and long-term marketing goals aligned to developer growth objectives, and communicate progress and priorities to cross-functional stakeholders
  • Develop go-to-market strategies for new developer tools and platform features, including launch planning, audience segmentation, and channel selection
  • Adapt messaging and content formats across developer touchpoints including technical blogs, developer documentation, webinars, hackathons, and developer conferences
  • Collaborate with global marketing and communications teams to ensure developer marketing narratives are consistent and aligned with broader Meta platform positioning

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in developer marketing, product marketing, or technical marketing roles Experience developing and executing marketing programs targeting software developers, technical practitioners, or developer communities Experience translating technical product capabilities such as APIs, SDKs, or developer platforms into clear messaging and content for technical audiences Experience using data and performance metrics to evaluate marketing program effectiveness and inform strategic decisions Experience collaborating with product, engineering, and developer relations teams to align marketing strategies with product roadmaps and business goals Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews) Experience marketing developer tools, platforms, or ecosystems in the context of AR/VR platforms Experience designing and executing developer community programs, such as hackathons, developer challenges, or technical ambassador programs
  • Familiarity with developer journey analytics and tools used to measure developer activation, engagement, and retention across platform ecosystems
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
  • Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
