Title and Summary Manager, Enterprise Strategy Overview The Manager, Strategy will play a key role in shaping and executing Mastercard’s strategic agenda across Eastern Europe, Middle East & Africa (EEMEA). As part of the EEMEA Business Excellence Team, this role partners closely with Business Units, Functional Leaders, and Regional Management to identify, assess, and implement initiatives that strengthen Mastercard’s competitive positioning and drive business impact.

The successful candidate will lead end-to-end workstreams – from problem definition and analysis to solution design, senior alignment, and execution – collaborating across markets and functions to deliver measurable outcomes. The role provides broad exposure to Mastercard’s senior leadership and a unique opportunity to influence the company’s priorities across 81 markets. This role reports to the Vice President, Strategy, EEMEA.

Role

• Support the development and execution of EEMEA’s strategic framework in alignment with Mastercard’s global priorities
• Lead strategic projects and workstreams focused on growth acceleration, innovation, and operational excellence Structure complex, ambiguous challenges into clear hypotheses, actionable plans, and measurable outcomes
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to generate insights and data-driven recommendations
• Develop compelling, executive-ready materials that clearly communicate findings and influence decision-making
• Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product, Services, Market Development, Finance) and regional business units to translate strategy into execution
• Build trusted relationships across EEMEA functions and markets to drive alignment and collaboration
• Contribute to a high-performing team culture that emphasizes strategic excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement All

About You

• Bachelor’s degree from a leading academic institution; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred Experience in top-tier management consulting and/or corporate strategy roles
• Proven ability to deliver high-impact strategic projects and drive tangible business results
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex information into actionable insights Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience crafting concise, logical narratives for senior audiences
