Underground Crusher Attendant - night shift

Job description

Martin Marietta is currently looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator at the underground mine operations in Randolph, Missouri. This position is responsible for safely operating heavy equipment within the plant.

Essential Functions

• Participate in safety programs and trainings, promoting Martin Marietta’s Guardian Angel culture
• Inspect equipment for signs of wear
• Perform basic maintenance on heavy mobile equipment
• Work in a team environment
• Clean work areas Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions Proper wear of personal protective equipment
• Notify supervisors of needed repairs
• Ensure materials are properly loaded according to safety requirements
• Assist in plant maintenance and repairs
• Perform duties with minimum supervision Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position and will require 40+ hours per week.

Preferred Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent Valid US driver's license Heavy equipment operations or military experience preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of MSHA regulations Effective verbal communication
• Knowledge of machines and tools including their design, use and maintenance

Physical Abilities

• Ability to work in an outdoor environment year-round General physical activities including climbing stairs and ladders, lifting, pushing, pulling, stooping, reach with hands and arms, and handling materials
