Portfolio Implementation Analyst

Job description

Our team manages Macquarie’s managed account offering and helps deliver positive outcomes for clients through effective portfolio implementation and trading activity. We work closely with investment managers, brokers, vendors and teams across the organisation to support a range of investment strategies. You will bring your insights and expertise to the task at hand and feel supported as you make your own kind of impact for a better future. In this role you will oversee portfolio implementation for managed account clients, ensuring portfolios align with their selected investment mandates. You will develop and execute trading activity, monitor portfolio attributes and work with stakeholders across the business to improve processes, technology and client outcomes.

You will also support incident management, complaint resolution and reporting for governance forums. Strong knowledge of managed accounts, securities trading and financial markets. Understanding of the regulatory requirements for managed investment schemes, separately managed accounts and securities trading. Advanced Excel skills, with experience using tools such as SQL, VBA, Iress, CHESS, Pega and Garradin. Experience implementing complex operational processes and managing operational risk.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
