Safety Specialist (m/f/d)

Job description

You will be responsible for the local implementation and enforcement of company HSE policies and procedures, ensuring full alignment with legal and corporate requirements Additionally, you will plan and conduct site visits, safety walks and audits, identifying hazards and following up on corrective actions You will take ownership of risk management processes within your area of responsibility A key part of your role will be monitoring high-risk operations, including gas hazards, pressure systems, confined spaces and fire/explosion risks, while ensuring continuous compliance

Moreover, you will play an active role in incident management, from reporting and investigation to root cause analysis and defining corrective and preventive actions You will coordinate and deliver safety training, toolbox talks and emergency response drills for employees and contractors In addition, you will support safe operations and project start-ups, as well as commissioning reviews

As the local HSE point of contact, you will support audits and inspections during authority, regional and group-level reviews, while contributing to ISO 45001 compliance and continuous improvement
