Associate Director - Finance

Job description

• Partner with the Global Helium & Rare Gases Controller to identify business and financial risks, prepare financial forecasts, analyze variances, monitor key business drivers, and communicate financial trends and results to senior staff
• Collaborate with Shared Services and Corporate functions to ensure business unit reporting compliance and appropriate accounting treatment for business transactions Further, analyze business and product-line initiatives, identify opportunities through data mining, and provide recommendations that support business objectives
• Manage large data sets for financial analysis and proactively identify and implement process improvements Also, lead the evaluation and implementation of business intelligence tools and processes to improve reporting systems, data quality, and timeliness for informed business decisions.

Partner with productivity and digitalization teams on accounting standardization projects to ensure appropriate accounting treatment across regions
