Advanced Control Systems Engineer

Job description

You will support process control, automation, instrumentation, and industrial networking systems across world-scale air separation facilities

• Ensure the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of control system infrastructure and field instrumentation
• Provide technical leadership and hands-on support for control system hardware, software, industrial networks, and instrumentation
• Troubleshoot control and automation issues and perform root cause analysis Further you will manage alarm systems and support preventive and corrective maintenance programs
• Execute small-scale engineering projects from concept and design through implementation and commissioning
• Develop and improve control system applications, standards, and best practices
• Develop practical, cost-effective solutions in compliance with company standards and policies And you will provide training and technical support to operations and maintenance personnel
• Support high-availability systems, including redundant controllers, networks, and remote I/O architectures
• Participate in off-hours and holiday support as required Travel approximately 10–25% as needed
