Job description

Planning and execution of piping jobs of repair/refit/conversion of ships.Timely completion of piping jobs as per scope of work.Compliance of safety and quality norms of Ship yard.Managing subcontractor’s manpower and adherence of job schedule.Ensuring the smooth work flow, coordinating with inter-departments.Rendering various Reports etcIdentification of SOW.Microplanning and scheduling.Preparation of Drawing & BOM.Raising of various material and service PRs.Execution of SOW as per DLs.Ensuring EHS and

Quality norms.Undertaking various inspection, HATs and SATsSound knowledge on ship’s system and equipment.Competency in pipe fabrication, erection and commissioning.Reading and preparation of drawings and BOM.Sound domain knowledge on Piping & Marine related systems.Working experience on Refit ships on Piping/Engineering systems.Piping fabrication, erection knowledge.Leadership qualities.Working knowledge on MS office and ERPExposure on shipyard safety and quality norms.

Qualifications

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME)
