Job description

A Fabrication Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing all fabrication operations to ensure efficient production, high-quality output, timely delivery, and strict adherence to safety standards. The role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership ability, and coordination skills to handle teams, processes, and resources effectively within a manufacturing or workshop environment.

• Plan, schedule, and oversee all fabrication activities to meet production targets
• Supervise fabrication processes including cutting, bending, welding, and assembly
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
• Manage and coordinate teams of fabricators, welders, and technicians Allocate work, handle shift planning, and provide training to the team Ensure optimal use of manpower, machines, and materials
• Monitor production progress and resolve bottlenecks efficiently
• Maintain quality standards and minimize defects, rework, and wastage
• Coordinate with QA/QC teams for inspections and compliance
• Enforce safety regulations, PPE usage, and conduct risk assessments
• Control production costs and improve operational efficiency
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams for smooth workflow Use ERP systems, basic AutoCAD knowledge, and Excel for tracking and reporting
• Ensure timely completion and delivery of fabrication projects
