Job Engineer

Job description

Manage engineering information and project data throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure proper implementation of Information Management (IM) procedures, standards, and workflows. Support establishment and maintenance of Engineering Information Management systems. Administer and maintain engineering databases, document repositories, and data management platforms. Ensure engineering deliverables are correctly registered, tracked, archived, and distributed.

Monitor the integrity, quality, consistency, and completeness of engineering data. Manage engineering metadata, document numbering systems, and data classification structures. Support development and maintenance of Engineering Data Management (EDM) strategies. Coordinate information exchange between engineering disciplines, vendors, clients, and project teams. Ensure accurate data transfer between engineering applications and information systems.

Monitor compliance with project information management requirements. Generate information management reports, dashboards, and project status updates. Support engineering digitalization initiatives and data governance requirements. Participate in engineering system setup, testing, and deployment activities. Ensure configuration control and document revision management processes are followed. Support project close-out activities including documentation turnover and project data archiving.
