Engineering Manger

Job description

Lead and manage multidisciplinary engineering and design teams for offshore oil & gas projects. Establish engineering execution strategies and technical governance frameworks. Oversee engineering deliverables across all disciplines. Ensure engineering deliverables are completed in accordance with project specifications, international standards, and client requirements. Drive engineering quality, consistency, and technical excellence across projects.

Review and approve critical engineering deliverables, calculations, studies, specifications, and design philosophies. Manage engineering interfaces and ensure effective multidisciplinary coordination. Lead design reviews, HAZOP support, constructability reviews, model reviews, and technical assurance activities. Establish engineering man-hour budgets and resource planning requirements. Monitor engineering productivity, deliverable schedules, and technical performance.

Resolve high-level technical issues and engineering deviations. Ensure compliance with applicable Codes and Standards including API, ASME, IEC, ISO, DNV, NORSOK, AWS, and client-specific requirements. Guide implementation of engineering best practices and lessons learned. Drive standardization, value engineering, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives. Provide technical leadership and mentoring to Discipline Leads and Senior Engineers.

Support proposal and tender activities through technical reviews and engineering estimation. Ensure engineering readiness for procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning phases. Partner with HSE teams to ensure design safety requirements are embedded into engineering deliverables. Support Project Execution teams through technical guidance and issue resolution. Coordinate with Commissioning and Operations teams for design clarifications and operational requirements.

Interface with Clients, Consultants, Classification Societies, and Regulatory Authorities. Participate in Management Review Meetings and Technical Review Committees.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Engineering (BE)
