Packaging Operator - 3rd shift (Starting wage $26/hr)

Job description

• Must learn the safe and accurate operation of the packaging filling equipment
• Perform set-up, start-up and changeover procedures for the equipment as needed
• Assist in troubleshooting issues with line performance as it relates to equipment operation
• Maintain downtime records during line operation Responsible for clean-up of the equipment after smash-ups or mis-feeds Responsible for monitoring and communicating any process or product abnormalities to your Supervisor, Team Leader, or Line Technician
• Perform sanitation duties for the filler equipment and other production equipment as needed
• Perform period sanitation work as assigned
• Demonstrates accurate handling and usage of chemicals
• Perform analysis of cleaner strengths on soaps and sanitizers used in the sanitation process
• Maintain weight control system to meet Kraft Heinz Beaver Dam policies and procedures
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds per NIOSH Lifting Equation and apply plant approved safe lifting practices for over 50 pounds Performing Good Sanitation Practices (GSP's) when handling equipment
• Must adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's)
• Perform all required observations and training timely and as scheduled
• Support plant quality systems Operators could be used on other lines and CMF operations for business needs
• Learn all 3 operator positions on the line and rotate through the positions Employee will cover the lines call insvacations themselves if no one is available
• Perform all other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Team Leader English Language Skills - Able to speak, read, and write
