Sanitation Operator

Job description

Ability to work 12-hour 4x4 rotating schedule that included days, nights, weekends and holidays and overtime as needed.

Previous food manufacturing, sanitation, janitorial, or production experience

• Knowledge of GMPs and food safety practices preferred Able to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to safely operate floor scrubbers and other sanitation equipment after training
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety
• Complete assigned sanitation and cleaning tasks in production and non-production areas
• Clean and sanitize floors, drains, sinks, equipment surfaces, and other designated areas
• Perform scheduled sanitation work and follow established sanitation, GMP, and food safety procedures
• Operate approved sanitation equipment safely and correctly
• Stock and restock sanitation and GMP supplies throughout the facility
• Remove trash and waste and help maintain clean interior and exterior facility areas
• Report equipment, safety, pest, or facility concerns to the Supervisor
• Support deep cleaning, shutdown sanitation, break relief, and other assigned duties
