Position Details

Driver will make deliveries of mattresses and box springs in dry van trailers from the DC in Puyallup WA to stores in WA, OR, MT, ID, CA, and NV Trailers are preloaded Loads are a mixture of single and multi stop Driver will run consistent routes to similar customers At the receiver driver is required to unload the mattresses and box springs into the store with a dolly/carts Driver will tailgate the mattresses to the tail of the trailer or dock area and then unload Driver will have some assistance from the customer Mattresses and box springs weigh an average of 100-180lbs.

Driver must be capable of tailgating and maneuvering 100-180lbs multiple times per day ​​​​​​​Majority of stops are 100% driver unload.

Drop/hook stops are minimal Special Requirements

Driver must be willing and able to chain as weather dictates Driver is required to assist other DCS/JBI accounts on a weekly basis Driver will assist other accounts an average of 2-3 times per week Majority of outsource work is with Intermodal Sumner/Seattle and Kroger but driver must be willing to assist any account in the area. ​​​​​​​ Driver is paid a daily rate when outsourced Truck Info: Automatic sleeper trucks Trucks are assigned Trucks must be left at the account for time off Drivers on this semi local job will operate in WA, OR, CA, MT, UT, ID, and NV
