Position Details

Driver will make deliveries of produce in reefer trailers to customer store locations throughout Southern CA Encompasses Oxnard to San Diego CA Driver will make frequent deliveries into downtown LA, downtown San Diego, and Orange County 95% of deliveries are to retail store fronts. 5% of deliveries will be to warehouses

Driver must be comfortable with close quarters backing and maneuvering as most delivery locations are difficult to access At the receiver, driver will use an electric pallet jack and lift gates to offload products either on docks or inside the customer facility Deliveries are multi stop. 8-10per day Average unload time is 15-30 minutes

Position is physically demanding requiring drivers to move product and climb in/out of the truck multiple times per day Driver will be required to pick up backhauls along their routes On time service is critical on this account.

Driver must be efficient with their pre trip planning Any appointment 2 hour or more late will be considered a service failure Special Requirements: A high level of customer service is needed for this account as there are frequent customer facing interactions Driver is required to assist other DCS/JBI accounts as needed Drivers are required to wear Steel Toe or Composite boots starting Day 1 Truck Info: Automatic Day Cabs Trucks are assigned Trucks must be left at the account for time off.
