Position Details

Being able to work/drive during inclement weather is a requirement. Responsible for moving trailers in and out of docks and around the yard. Shuttling trailers between the customer's accounts and locations. Keeping the yard neat and orderly. Fueling trailers. Inspecting equipment and reporting equipment issues to management. Communicating with management and customers.

Additional Information

Driver is responsible for customer yard checks. They will check every trailer on the lot to ensure the temperature is set correctly and that the reefer unit is running properly on each shift. Logging trailer checks - (drivers will be given a tablet to log trailer temps, set points, contents, and the overall condition of the trailer - this is required every 4 hours). Uniforms are required and provided for the driver through Cintas.

Steel toed boots are required and ordered through Cintas.

Automatic Ottawa trucks - These are Kalamar brand lift trucks. Slip Seating Required 48' Reefer Trailers Passengers/pets are not permitted. Drivers on this yard job will operate in AR.
