Position Details

This is a regional driving position. Drivers will pick-up preloaded trailers from the plant in Laurel MD. They will deliver loads of windows to vendors on dry van trailer return with backhaul or empty trailer. Windows can range from 20-60 lbs. each. Driver assist in tailgating windows Drivers are required to use a handheld scanner when unloading windows. Drivers will rarely drive into Brooklyn, Long Island, or Staten Island, but there is a slim possibility.

When operating in the Boroughs, drivers will use either a box truck or a 28-foot pup trailer." Drivers will be backing and maneuvering in difficult, tight places anywhere from 1 to 10 times a day Carts are available at times, but the expectation is for the driver to be physically able & willing to slide the window to the end of the trailer.
