Position details

Delivering palletized feed, fertilizer, bird seed, peat moss, dirt, agricultural tools, etc. to various farm and turf stores Driver unload with an electric pallet jack 50% dock delivery - 50% tailgate delivery Normally, the drivers do not down stack the bags.They move pallets only. However, if a pallet falls apart in the truck, they will need to restack it. Average 20 - 25 stops per week Special requirements: The driver will use an electric pallet jack to move the palletized freight Pallets weigh up to 2500 lbs.

Heaviest bags weigh 50 lbs. Must be able to perform close quarter maneuvering Must be able to get into and out of the trailer multiple times per day utilizing the 3 points of contact method without utilizing a ladder or step stool.

Additional Details

Riders are not permitted Trucks can be taken home if the driver has a safe/legal place to park. If not, they can park at the account or one of the JBH terminals (Columbus, Niles, or Toledo) Account manager is on-site International and Freightliner Sleepers with 48 ft roll door trailers and Liftgate trailers. The driver cannot choose. No NYC Drivers on this regional job will operate in OH, IN, KY, WV, PA, MI, NC, VA and NY.
