Duties may include, and are not limited to, the following: frequent contact with customer employees and contact with the motoring public at fuel stations and rest stops.

Position Details

Will make multi-stop unattended deliveries of palletized food products to food distributors, satellite warehouses, and other outside customers on reefer and dry van trailers with lift gates. Unattended deliveries will require a key drop. Responsible for all unloading using a pallet jack and placing all items in their designated area within each delivery site per company policies and procedures. (Account uses electric jacks, if distributor has a manual they can use it, but not all sites have a manual jack) May be required to down stack a pallet of food product in certain situations. (Boxes weigh between 10-40 pounds).

The unloading process will require reading a load diagram to ensure the proper product reaches the correct location. Will be required to ensure counts, proper loading, proper temperature control, and pick up dunnage at each stop (empty containers, totes, boxes *pre packaged and wrapped ready to pick up*). Loads will require the pickup of a backhaul. Required to fill out and turn in daily logs, post trip inspection reports, invoices, manifests, issue credits, read invoices, and any other necessary paperwork.

Drivers will be outsourced for work to other accounts as needed.

Special Requirements

Required to maintain a clean tractor and trailer at all times (inside and outside). Uniforms

• Provided, required to wear pants - no shorts. Slip Resistant Steel Toed Boots - drivers are responsible for purchasing. Neat facial/Groomed hair required. Obscene tattoos are not permitted.

• Freightliner or International Drivers will slip seat
• Tractors are NOT assigned. Drivers with layover loads will be set up in a sleeper or hotel arrangements will be made. Passengers/pets are not permitted. Drivers on this semi-local job will operate in AR, LA, KS, MO, OK and TX.
