This position may be eligible for safety bonuses and incentives based on profitability or performance, as applicable. J.B. Position Details

No touch Freight All freight is on Intermodal Container/Chassis combination All loads for the day are planned prior to the driver start time Drivers will do a Chicago turn each of their 5 scheduled workdays. This typically takes 11-13 hrs depending on ability. In the event other local shuttle work or moves are required, 12 hr days would be expected.

Equipment/Truck Parking

Drivers will operate mid roof conventional tractors. Average age of the fleet is 2.5 years Most Tractors are Automatic Transmission Freightliners Max speed of trucks is 62 MPH with peddle and 65 MPH on cruise 100% of freight is on Intermodal Chassis/Container Equipment will be parked at the terminal during time off PTO Breakdown: PTO Accrual starts on the first day of employment. Time off is accrued in real time, you don’t have to wait for your anniversary to take time off.

New/rehire – 1.5 hours accrued/week = 7 PTO days/year 1+ years – 1.54 hours accrued/week = 10 PTO days/year 6+ years – 2.31 hours accrued/week = 15 PTO days/year 19+ years – 3.08 hours accrued/week = 20 PTO days/year Drivers on this semi-local job will operate in IA, IL, IN and WI.
