Your role and responsibilities
As a Package Consultant specializing in Oracle Business Analytics Cloud, you will help clients turn their business data into insights. Help design and build data models, semantic layers, datasets, data flows, dashboards, and reports. Help extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from Oracle Fusion Applications (ERP, HCM, SCM) and other source systems. Develop visualizations, KPIs, and self-service analytics that support decision-making. Support unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing. Log and resolve defects. Prepare functional specifications, technical design documents, test cases, and user guides.
Support end users through training sessions, knowledge transfer, and hypercare after go-live. Follow delivery standards, quality processes, and security and data-governance policies. Keep learning Oracle Cloud technologies and earn relevant certifications. Work with onshore and offshore teams, and report progress, risks, and issues to the project lead.
Required technical and professional expertise
Hands-on exposure to Oracle Analytics Cloud, Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence, or OBIEE through internships, academic projects, or training. Oracle certification, such as Oracle Analytics Cloud Professional or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundations Associate. Basic knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications (Finance, HCM, or Supply Chain) and their data structures. Exposure to Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), or Oracle Data Transforms.
Basic scripting or programming skills, such as Python, or knowledge of REST APIs. Understanding of Agile or Scrum delivery. Knowledge of cloud concepts and data security fundamentals. Experience with a professional consulting or client-facing environment, such as an internship or capstone project. Strong presentation skills and a clear way of explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Preferred technical and professional experience
Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record in database management, data analytics, business intelligence, or data warehousing coursework. Degree in Business Analytics, Management Information Systems (MIS), or Business Administration with an IT or analytics focus. Completed relevant online courses or certifications, for example from Oracle University, Coursera, or Udemy, in SQL, BI, or data analytics. Master's degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related field (optional).
