Production Assembler - 2nd Shift

Responsibilities

' Safely perform a variety of assembly operations, complying with all environmental, health and safety policies and procedures '

• Operate a variety of manufacturing equipment following established Standard Operating Procedures '
• Assist with line set ups, start up and maintaining a clean and orderly work area '
• Maintain quality standards as described in the quality system by visually inspect parts, components and subassemblies ' Recognize and solve minor problems that arise '
• Perform any necessary material handling requirements of the job '
• Perform other duties that may be assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic math ' add, subtract, multiply whole numbers, fractions and decimals '
• Strong orientation toward quality, safety and continuous improvement '
• Strong attention to detail ' Desire to learn new skills and improve technical knowledge '
• Ability to read and understand procedure, routers and instruction ' Flexibility in work assignments '
• Demonstrated ability to effectively implement or respond to change ' Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required Physical Requirements: '
• Must be able to continuously perform grasping, reaching, pushing, pulling, and walking '
• Must be able to handle continuous standing 8-10 hours daily '
• Must be able to perform frequent lifting up to 50 lbs '
• Must be able to work daily, weekly overtime and weekend as required
