Collections Specialist

Job description

You will report directly to our Manager Collections and you’ll work out of our San Luis location on a Hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact cash flow optimization and help minimize bad debt by effectively managing customer accounts and resolving disputes.

Responsibilities

Manage vendor accounts and maintain accurate records of collections activities. Reconcile bank accounts and support monthly close activities. Resolve vendor questions and allocate expenses appropriately. Drive compliance with company policies and standards related to collections. Compile reports on collections performance and outstanding accounts.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE Experience in collections or accounts receivable management. Knowledge of collections processes and financial reconciliation. Familiarity with general ledger maintenance and bank reconciliation. Ability to resolve vendor and customer inquiries related to collections. WE VALUE Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred. Intermediate Portuguese/English language skills Experience working in a fast-paced financial environment.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
