The client is one of the world’s leading providers of elevators, escalators, and moving walkways, as well as maintenance and modernization services. Azure cloud-based platform built on a microservices architecture that processes telemetry data from thousands of connected IoT devices (elevators and escalators) worldwide.

The platform integrates with mobile applications, web portals, and other cloud services to provide real-time monitoring, diagnostics, and digital services.

Requirements

Requirements: Strong knowledge of Python and experience in backend test automation (2+ years) Experience with Pytest framework and test architecture design Hands-on experience with REST API testing and automation Experience testing microservices-based architectures Experience with Azure cloud services or other cloud platforms Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)

Experience with API contract validation (OpenAPI / Swagger) Experience with database testing (SQL / data validation) Experience with Allure reporting or similar test reporting tools Experience in QA documentation (Test Plan, Test Strategy, Test Cases, Test Reports, Metrics) Strong understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies At least Intermediate English Nice to have: Experience testing cloud-native applications

Experience with IoT systems or device communication Experience with performance or load testing Experience with UI testing (Selenium / Playwright) Experience with contract testing or service virtualization

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development and improvement of the automated backend testing platform
• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for microservices and REST APIs
• Execute automated tests across multiple environments and regions
• Analyze test results, identify issues, and collaborate with developers to resolve them
• Develop emulator models simulating elevators and escalators for automated test verification
• Participate in test strategy definition and test architecture improvements
• Perform release verification and regression testing across multiple environments
• Analyze system behavior using logs, monitoring tools, and telemetry data
• Collaborate closely with Architects, Developers, DevOps engineers, Product Owners, and QA engineers
