Our teams thrive in a high-paced, ever-changing environment where passion, excellence, and innovation drive success Mechanical Designer Job Description: There is presently a need for highly-motivated Mechanical Designers with the ability to produce design deliverables from design sketches, layouts and/or concepts to support manufacture, assembly and test.We are looking for candidates with the desire to develop skills through on-the-job experience and continued education to advance in the design profession.

Responsibilities

Must be willing to work in a collaborative and team environment. Must possess strong attention to detail and problem solving skills. Must possess strong computer skills and excellent interpersonal skills.

• Knowledge of Microsoft products
• Ability to perform design related math functions
• Ability to read and interpret written instructions and drawings (blueprints) Firm understanding of Design Standards, Manufacturing
• Processes and Military Specifications including GD&T Qualifications Required: High school diploma/GED or Vocational
• High School diploma
• 6+ years of design experience Experience reading and interpreting blueprints.drawings
• Demonstrated proficiency in drafting (portfolio) with Computer Aided Design (CAD) is required (NX preferred)

Preferred

Two year Technical School/College Experience withCATIA and/or NX Experience in Design for Six Sigma, Lean Design/Manufacturing PI288092460
