Join us as Country Manager and take the lead in driving business growth, strengthening our market presence, and delivering operational excellence in a dynamic and strategically important market. Tasks Lead and develop local sales and handling operations, driving revenue growth, profitability, and market share. Identify new business opportunities, strengthen customer relationships, and monitor market trends and competitor activities.

Oversee safe, secure, and high-quality cargo and aircraft handling operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations. Manage relationships with business partners, service providers, authorities, and key industry stakeholders. Lead, motivate, and develop local teams, fostering a high-performance culture. Implement Lufthansa Cargo’s global and regional strategy in the local market. Oversee budgets, financial performance, and cost efficiency while ensuring effective processes and operational excellence.

Requirements

3–5 years of relevant experience in the airline, logistics, or transportation industry. Strong understanding of airline or logistics operations, ideally with knowledge of Lufthansa Cargo’s processes and organizational structure. Proven skills in people management, budgeting, cost control, and revenue management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Willingness to travel and a valid driver’s license.

Ability to work effectively under time pressure and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to undergo the required assessment and screening procedures.
