Marine Claims Officer

Job description

• Handle marine claims efficiently and effectively in accordance with company’s guidelines;
• Closely monitor and follow up outstanding claims and payments;
• Promptly identify and procure recovery;
• Communicate with policy holders, intermediaries and service providers to provide high quality claims services to customers;
• Provide general administrative support to the team head;
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
• Degree holder preferably in insurance or shipping/logistics discipline;
• At least 3 years of marine claims handling experience;
• Customer-oriented, attentive to details and able to meet tight deadlines;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, self-motivated and willing to work hard and learn;
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Mandarin);
• Proficiency in computer skills including MS Window, Word and Excel, etc.
