What You Will Do

As a Design Engineer, you will lead on the engine components design and development, provide effective and robust technical solutions for quality issues and technical support by proficiently using problem solving tools. Understand whole engine structure and performance functions Engine components design, development and validation Production line quality issue resolution from engineering perspective Customer quality issue resolution from engineering perspective Quality issue root cause analysis and temporary & permanent solutions identified Collaborate with SDE/SQE to support on the supplier quality issue resolution Critical quality issue risk assessment and evaluation What Skills You Will Have: Products and Services: Knowledge of major products and services and product and service groups; ability to apply knowledge of product and service appropriately to diverse situations.

Analytical Thinking

Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.

Effective Communications

Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Technical Excellence

Knowledge of a given technology and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges.

Product Design - MFG

Knowledge of processes, approaches, tools and techniques of product design; ability to convert customer and market requirements into product design.

Product Design and Development

Knowledge of product features; ability to design, build, and develop a new product, technology, or service from concept through to production.

Level Working Knowledge

Troubleshooting Technical Problems: Knowledge of troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques; ability to anticipate, detect and resolve technical problems in a manufacturing or product development environment.

Data Gathering & Analysis

Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques, and processes; ability to collect and synthesize data from a variety of stakeholders and sources in an objective manner to reach a conclusion, goal, or judgment.

Required Qualifications

. Requires a degree in an accredited Engineering, Automobile, or Mechanical Engineering. 3-5 years of experience in industry (automobiles, engines, machinery manufacturing, heavy equipment, ect). Quality-related work experience prepared.

Desired Qualifications

Strong sense of responsibility, proactive, and detail oriented. Strong ability to adapt to fast pace and occasionally emergencies.

Additional Information

Fluent in English, with the ability to work effectively across different time zones. This position will require less than 10% travel.No
