Capgemini is seeking an SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI/CO) Application Support Consultant to join our growing Application Development & Maintenance (ADM) team, supporting mission-critical SAP services within a secure Defence environment.As part of Capgemini's ADM practice, you will work alongside a highly skilled team responsible for keeping complex SAP landscapes running smoothly, delivering operational excellence, continuous improvement, and trusted support to our clients.

This role offers the opportunity to combine deep functional expertise with stakeholder engagement, problem-solving, and process optimisation in a collaborative and supportive environment.Your RoleProviding functional support across SAP S/4HANA Finance, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting, and Controlling (CO) Managing incidents, service requests, problems, and changes in line with ITIL best practicesSupporting financial close activities, reconciliations, and period-end processingInvestigating and resolving complex business and system issuesWorking closely with technical and functional teams to ensure seamless integration with related SAP modules, particularly MM and PSSupporting audit, compliance, and regulatory requirements within a highly governed environmentIdentifying opportunities for process optimisation, automation, and service improvementYour skills and experienceStrong functional expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI/CO)Experience supporting period-end and financial close processesUnderstanding of integration points with
