Technical Delivery Manager

YOUR ROLEWe are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager with a strong background in software development delivery. This role is best suited for professionals who have led software engineering, digital platform or system integration initiatives and are comfortable discussing technical topics with developers, architects and engineering leads.Candidates coming from purely business project management backgrounds without exposure to software engineering, application development, integration or cloud-based delivery environments are unlikely to be a fit for this role.

Budapest, Hungary (Hybrid)This position follows a hybrid working model in Budapest.

We are currently considering applicants who are based in Hungary and eligible to work in Hungary.YOU WILLLead IT projects and digital product development initiatives from initiation through deliveryCoordinate international teams of software engineers, testers, business analysts, and architectsDefine and manage delivery roadmaps, project plans, and release schedulesIdentify, manage, and escalate technical and business risksCollaborate closely with client stakeholders, Product Owners, Engineering

• Leads, and Solution ArchitectsManage dependencies, resources, and priorities across multiple workstreamsOversee project financials, timelines, and quality objectivesPromote delivery excellence, continuous improvement, and best practicesPrepare project status reports, executive summaries, and decision-support materialsYOU HAVEMinimum 3-5 years delivering software engineering, digital platform, application development or system integration projectsDemonstrated experience working with software engineering teams and managing the delivery of software development, platform modernization, API/integration or cloud-related initiativesAbility to discuss delivery topics with engineers, architects and technical leads, including APIs, integrations, architecture dependencies, release management and cloud-based solutionsProfessional English communication skills, both written and spokenExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsStrong analytical thinking and a systems-oriented mindsetProactive, hands-on attitude with a structured approach to problem solvingExperience working in Agile delivery environmentsAbility to collaborate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders NICE TO HAVEExperience with cloud environments (GCP, Azure, or AWS)Experience working in international and enterprise-scale organizationsPMI, PMP, Prince2, Scrum
