Software Engineer, App Store

Job description

Apple Services Engineering is one of the most exciting examples of Apple's long-held passion for combining the liberal arts and technology. We are the people who power Apple TV, Apple Music, Apple Podcasts, Apple Books, and the App Store. Our products operate at massive scale, delivering a huge variety of entertainment to customers in more than 150 countries and over 35 languages, and meeting Apple's high expectations for performance and quality at every step.

Our engineers build secure, end-to-end solutions

the custom software that processes creative work, the tools our providers use to deliver media, the server-side systems, and the APIs behind many Apple services. We use those systems to build delightful, easy-to-use customer experiences, increasingly enhanced by AI and generative AI. Thanks to Apple's unique integration of hardware, software, and services, engineers here get behind a single unified vision, one that always includes a deep commitment to privacy, a core Apple value.

Although Services is a bigger part of Apple's business than ever, these teams remain small, nimble, and cross-functional, which means greater visibility and a wider array of opportunities than you might expect. If you care about the details that make an interface feel effortless, you will find a lot to love here.
